Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is a kind of natural gas will be compressed, cooled to - 163℃, which is a kind of chemical material. It has high storage efficiency, small footprint, carbon and sulfur pollutants less. With the development of LNG technology and leakage accident comes, to the safety of people’s life and property security brings a great threat. Therefore, our research group has in cooperation with the Academy of coal heat, in eastern Beijing LNG storage station project, has been using PHAST do some research. But the focus of research before is the tank itself, not within the plant buildings and equipment design’s into consideration. And, PHAST Software’s regional model is based on the empirical formula calculated calculation results are rough.PHAST software in the simulation also ignore the station CIMC liquid pool, only assuming that the leaked liquid flowing natural and on the authenticity of the simulation somewhat lacking.Therefore, the author will be based on the FDS software, the overall simulation analysis of the reserve station. The main research work is as follows:(1) Using the sketch up software for building model, and then import the FDS software for mesh generation and parameter setting, the corresponding fire scenarios is responsible for setting parameters of several typical working conditions of numerical simulation analysis. Obtained the corresponding results of temperature and radiative heat flux, and under the same conditions the PHAST Software simulation results are compared and analyzed.(2) In the FDS software were used Pool fire theory of regional model and parameter setting method and liquefaction weather Handbook of pool fire theory and parameter setting method, ignore the role of liquid pool, the same pool fire scene simulation. The results were compared and analyzed, determined according to two kind of theory to simulate the results the difference in size.(3) On several important parameters of the fire scene to hand calculation, and the simulation results were compared. Combined with the results of simulation analysis, obtained FDS software is the most reasonable fire parameters setting method, eventually for the liquefied natural gas reserves stand provided a reference for the design.(4) By simulating the LNG storage tank pipeline leakage accident scenarios, for pool fire, combined with FDS simulation results were analyzed. Obtained under different fire scenarios, LNG storage station of the severity of the accident, fire size, temperature field distribution and heat radiation harm influence scope. Thus to determine LNG storage tank a dangerous neighborhood area and safe range, for LNG storage station plant station layout and plant planning, and LNG storage station design and built the constructive suggestions, but also for the reserves for LNG station more in-depth studies provided data for reference and pointed out more study direction.
