With the development of economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, both cities, towns and countryside need to have a comfortable indoor environment in the cold winter. we need a lot of coal to produce heat in winter in order to create such an indoor environment.Now with the increase of the heating area,coal consumption will be increasing.NO2, SO2 and dust pollution of city is serious,coal is one of the main reasons for. The long distance heating questions can effectively relieve the winter smog. Therefore, long distance heating has become an important problem for the research workers.Long distance heating hot water pipe network of physical model is established. On the basis of an engineering example,this chapter solves economic analysis, including the initial investment, pipes,cost of heat loss,cost of pump,cost of maintenance, filling water fee and other fees.The pump consumption accounted for 54.9% of the total cost, far more than several other expenses. The reasons is the economic specific frictional resistance is 55 pa/m, we should set up a new economic specific frictional resistance of long distance heating hot water pipe.For thickness of insulation layer of long distance heating hot water pipe is calculated. Putting forward the mathematical model of the economic thickness of insulation layer, and using MATLAB software to programming calculation of mathematical model,economic thickness of insulation layer of the long distance heating hot water pipe is concluded. the heat loss is minimal under the economic thickness of insulation layer.Proposed the mathematical model of economic specific frictional resistance on long distance heating hot water pipe, under the computer programming, we can get the solution of the economic specific frictional resistance. When the heating period is 20 years, the scope of economic specific frictional resistance is 15 pa/m to 35 pa/m. We should use the scope of economic specific frictional resistance in the design of long distance heating hot water pipes.Using computing cost analysis method and the payback period method to analyze the cost of somewhere long distance heating hot water pipe and the use of the new economic specific frictional resistance pipe. The cost of a county long distance heating hot water pipe is more than the cost of long distance heating hot water pipe under the new economic specific frictional resistance.Payback period of a county long distance heating hot water pipe is more than payback period of long distance heating hot water pipe under the new economic specific frictional resistance.The maximum transmission distance of long distance heating hot water pipe DN1000 is solved through the economy.the heat loss is 4.3% under the economic thickness of insulation layer,the temperature can satisfy the requirement of the heat users. This subject aims at providing theoretical basis of long distance heating hot water pipes.
