Nowadays, with the rapid development of rail transit construction, traffic safety problem becomes increasingly serious. To collect the vehicle equipment information, the current method is by using handled dump device, which downloads the information when the train is stopped and in storage. In this way, it can’t grasp running status of the train immediately, and will inevitably cause security risks. On the research and analysis for process data and message data of the train, this thesis puts forward and realizes a design of vehicle terminal as a subsystem of the intelligent maintenance and repair service system. It collects network data of the train, transmits the real-time state of key subsystems and equipment to ground. By using the high bandwidth of 4G, the terminal also provides real-time monitoring of key equipment, as a basis for fault diagnosis of the ground system. The main work and achievements cover the following:This thesis presents the overall design scheme based on terminal functions. It determines the way terminal communites, consults the characteristics of TCN, designs redundant topology to ensure reliability, and organizes the subsystem and equipment status information, alone with fault types and contents, according to TCN process data and message data. It then designs an effective information transmission format.Accroding to the characteristics of vehicle environment, and taking into account of reliability and scalability, s5pv210 is choosed as the terminal CPU. Hardware board design references to the electrical standard for train communication network devices. Security, interference immunity and the intergrity of the interface are mainly considered.As to the design and implementation for the terminal software, construction of embedded platform and terminal application development are included. According to terminal functions and hardware interface, boot-loader, linux kernel and file system are cut to reduce the system volume, and to improve the real-time performance. Based on module division, terminal application realizes the communication between train and ground using 4G wireless signal, also realizes train operation information acquisition and transmission, key equipment scene monitoring, and fault alarm information is sent.Finally, the thesis builds platform, tests functional completencess and real-time performance of the terminal. The work has been done so far is also been summarized.
