The new concepts of "Industry 4.0", "Internet+" and "Made in China 2025" were proposed one by one, Start a new relay race of the development of "Internet+ manufacturing". Shipbuilding industry is also eager to find the accurate position in the new environment. The realization of intelligent ship becomes a new research under the background of new times. This paper studies the current development of marine fuel purification systems at home and abroad, the current mainstream of marine purifier use microcontroller as the master chip, the quality of real-time is not good enough, and the control interface is not friendly. To solve these problems, a new idea was proposed that STM32 (ARM family CortexTM-M3 core) embedded processor as the master control system. The Ethernet interface, CAN bus interface, and serial communication module are configured as the Peripheral device. This method not only meets the real-time field data transmission, but also meets the convenience of network and PC monitor demands.The structure of marine purifier main control unit can be divided into three levels, signal acquisition and control layer, gateway layer and monitoring layer. Design work carried out in this three-layer architecture to complete the development work of the control unit.Signal acquisition and control layer includes purifier distributed digital input and output (start-stop signal and sound and light alarms, etc.) module, analog input and output (temperature, viscosity and flow rate signal) module. Field I/O signal acquisition module is redundancy designed to increase the reliability of signal acquisition.Gateway layer is mainly used for the communication between the signal acquisition layer and monitoring layer. UDP protocol of the TCP/IP hardware protocol stack is used to exchange the data between serial port and Ethernet port. Internet switch is used to connect several purifiers monitoring. Serial bus interface were reserved for receiving and processing the monitoring and alarm signals.DGUS development platform is used for the design of the Human Machine Interface of monitoring and control layer. Develop a marine purifier main control unit graphical control software to achieve the features that purifier automatic start and stop, auto-separation, sound and light alarm, automatic slag drainage and inlet temperature of the oil to be self-regulating, remote monitoring, etc.
