In recent years, with the rapid development of the motor technology, induction motor is used more and more widely. It has some advantages of simple structure, easy manufacture, low operation cost and price, higher efficiency, so the anisotropy performance requirements are higher and higher, the more prominent research content mainly involves the vibration and noise of the motor, operating temperature, reliability. In order to make the induction motor to adapt to a variety of special occasions, damping the vibration and noise is particularly important, at the same time, the temperature rise of the motor will affect the reliability of operation, so it is very important to reduce the vibration and noise of motor and calculate the temperature rise of the motor. This article mainly for ship model are used for Y225M-2, 45 kW power of induction motor vibration and noise and temperature field of study.The research in this thesis mainly completes the following contents:Firstly, summary of the induction motor vibration and noise of the domestic and foreign development status and causes of vibration and noise, the characteristics of porous metal materials is summarized in detail, especially in reducing vibration and noise characteristics. In determining the structure size of the motor is established the two-dimensional model of the motor, and through the finite element software of electromagnetic calculation results show the parameters of the motor. To meet the target of the normal operation of the motor, basing on the motor structure is modified.Secondly, through calculating results on the two-dimensional motor field, it is concluded that the motor rated load under the condition of the loss, mainly for motor stator iron consumption, winding copper loss and mechanical loss. These are the main factors of heat generated by the motor, and the establishment of the two types of motor cooling model, divided into traditional models of axial cooling and cooling model based on porous metal materials. By three dimensional finite element method of temperature field calculation module two cooling model of the temperature field is calculated, and has carried on the contrast analysis and verification of the porous metal material in the motor cooling effect.Finally, in the extraction of motor stator and rotor radial air gap flux density based on, electromagnetic force calculation, analysis of the motor under the action of electromagnetic force vibration acceleration. Respectively from the different structural parameters of the porous metal materials, including material thickness, porosity, wire diameter, analyzes the effect of porous metal material properties on motor’s vibration and noise. From the results of the analysis can be obtained porous metal material on motor’s vibration and noise absorption effect.
