A Study Of Rural Settlement Landscape Planning And Design Under The Linpan In Chengdu Plain Protection

With the rapid development of human society, original settlement pattern in rural areas continue to disappear. Linpan is a traditional rural settlement pattern existed long ago in western Chengdu plain, but it also decline gradually. Linpan is a main component of rural settlement in Chengdu plain. What is more, it also affects the entire rural settlement landscape in Chengdu plain. Therefore, with the build of new countryside in Sichuan province, we should protect Linpan as it is a unique regional resource. The study of new countryside rural settlement landscape planning and design which based on the protection of Linpan in western Chengdu plain, have an important theoretical and practical significance influence to the protection of unique rural landscape, continuation of traditional farming culture, the environment of farmers living environment and the construction of new settlements in rural landscape.Few study methods which are literature research, comprehensive analysis, combination of field research and practical case study method are used in this paper. Firstly, analyze the theoretical studies of Linpan in western Chengdu plain and new rural settlement landscape planning and design. Then summarized the new rural settlement landscape plan and design method based on the protection of Linpan in western Chengdu. At last, use the method above to the practical cases.This study is divided into five parts. The first part elaborates the background, achievement and the significance of the research. Part two states the concept of rural settlement landscape and Linpan in western Chengdu plain. Also provides an overview and induction features, relevance and value of Linpan, and the necessity of protection of Linpan in Chengdu plain. Part three states the planning and design for the new rural settlement landscape in the background of new rural construction. Including the traditional settlement landscape planning and design problems, requirements of new rural landscape planning and new rural settlement landscape planning design ideas, principles and methods. Part four discuss the new rural settlement landscape planning and design method based on the protection of Linpan in Chengdu and new rural settlement planning and design, combine with the value and meaning of existence of Linpan in Chengdu plain, including the key point and content of landscape planning, new development mode of Linpan and settlement of rural area in Chengdu plain. The main point of the rural settlement planning and design content focuses on the overall landscape pattern of rural settlements planning, landscape architecture and landscape plan courtyard, water and road landscape design, landscape planning and design of farmland, settlement of green landscape planning and design, infrastructure and public service design planning and design. Part five discuss a case study that put the theory into practice, and take Qingbaijiang District Dragon Town Liangwan beauty village landscape planning and design project construction for example, examine the scientificity of the new rural settlement landscape planning and design methods discussed above. Provide a theoretical reference for the protection and construction of new rural settlement landscape of Linpan in Chengdu plain.Through the research of study of rural settlement landscape planning and design based on the plain protection of Linpan in Chengdu, in order to be able to set a new direction for protection and renew of Linpan in Chengdu plain and new rural settlement landscape planning and design. Also aims to give the theoretical and practical support for the heritage of the western Sichuan Linpan and the innovations of western Sichuan rural area.
