At present, Although concrete sleeper have been widely used in railway traffic in our country, but also bring some adverse effect in special area. Such as increasing the pulverization rate of ballast, the increase of the vibration and noise aggravate deterioration of the living environment around railway; Wooden sleeper can lower the track vertical stiffness, But the negative factors of short life, big maintenance workload and resource scarcity restrict its widespread use. Some domestic and foreign research institutions Presented some solutions as elastic sleeper and laid ballast pad, and have achieved good results.This paper present a new project of reinforced fiber composite sleeper to lower the track vertical stiffness which have some advantages of high elasticity, high strength, good corrosion resistance, long lifetime and flexible installation. And this paper will introduce the new type sleeper from material, production process and structure. The parameters of this new type sleeper can be up to the standard of existing railway track by testing. In addition, this paper build vehicle-track coupling dynamic model by using special software NUCARS to analyze the dynamic parameters of different open bridge deckes which have been installed reinforced fiber composite sleeper, FFU sleeper or wooden sleeper, Which based on the application of this new type sleeper on open bridge deck. and the results from different velocities of 25T passenger car and C70 freight car show that the dynamic parameters of reinforced fiber composite sleeper are advantage over wooden sleeper, and consistent with FFU sleeper except some better parameters. These results provide basis for the application of reinforced fiber composite sleeper on open bridge deck.
