| With social progress and development, the demand for electric power system stability becomes more and more high. Sudden breakdown of the power system will bring huge economic loss and very bad society influence. So it is necessary to monitor the condition of the device in the power system in order to know the condition of power device well. It can give a earlier warning when the power device is going to aging or have the trend of sudden breakdown. When we monitor the condition of the power device, the real-time of monitoring is an important aspect. In order to solve the problem, we can user our lab’s real-time simulation platform into the field of condition monitoring of power device. The specific work includes:1. The study and research of the technology of power device’s condition monitoring. In order to implement the technology of power device’s condition monitoring in the real-time simulation platform, we have a research on the technology which give a focus on MOA’s condition monitoring.2. Research and implement of MOA’s condition monitoring system based on real-time simulation platform which include the design if the hardware framework of the monitoring system and transplanting of the algorithm of MOA’s condition monitoring to QNXsimulation computer.3. Modern smart substation user the IEC61850standard to implement the data interactive of the IEDin the smart substation. If we want to use our power device’s condition monitoring system into the smart substation, the system must comply the IEC61850standard.
