In recent years, many accidents caused by the foundation settlement have caused the loss of life and property. In order to ensure the safe operation of the building, the foundation settlement problem is more and more important, and it is urgent to predict the future trend of the foundation., the foundation settlement is more and more important, and it is urgent to predict the future trend of the foundation.This paper introduces the general situation of the site of a thermal power plant of Datong, engineering geological and hydrogeological conditions of the site of a thermal power plant, and analyzes the settlement data of the power plant construction. According to the computation requirement of the forecast model, five kinds of interpolation calculation methods are realized by MATLAB software. The linear interpolation, Lagrange interpolation, three spline interpolation, Newton interpolation and Hermite interpolation are obtained.In this paper, we use the software of building foundation subsidence prediction system, The settlement data obtained by different interpolation methods are used for Pearl curve fitting, The results show that the curve fitting degree is high and the calculation precision is accurate, and the final settlement is calculated according to the settlement of the settlement curve. The results of the five methods are analyzed and compared.Results show that the project can be better applied Pearl curve, five interpolation method the result error is very small. Results at various points in comparison, the ensemble and Lagrange interpolation method is concluded that the results are good. Interval such as Pearl curve prediction model and the measured settlement curves coincide degree is high, illustrate with Pearl curve analysis predict foundation settlement is feasible; According to the results of the standard deviation is small, the foundation settlement with Pearl curve to analysis is more accurate.
