VR(Virtual Reality, VR for short) is people use computer to complex data visualization operation with a new form of interaction. In the virtual space, assistive technology can produce immersive feel users in the senses, and can interact with objects in the virtual world, get natural feedback. In recent years, virtual reality technology has been developing rapidly, and actual application in many fields.The turbine is the mechanical water transformation. Hydropower resources as renewable resources, get people’s attention. Low head resources are very abundant in our country, the tubular turbine as a good model of the development of low head hydropower resources, the application prospect is very broad.This topic selection of bulb tubular turbine as the research object, using 3 ds Max and the method of combining the VRP virtual reality editor, turbine virtual reality simulation system is studied, effectively solved because of the location, funds limit restrictions such as training, greatly enhance the efficiency of the training of technical staff, shorten the training time.This article first expounds the concept of virtual reality technology, the development and application status quo, put forward the research meaning of the topic,and studied the working principle of hydraulic turbine and classification. Then use the three dimensional modeling software Solidworks, establish its model in 3 ds Max optimization and USES its powerful function of the three dimensional animation complete dismantling animation and working status of animation. On this basis, the use of virtual reality software controls within the VRP, scripts, interface functions and time axis function on the interaction setting, and completes the release. At the end of the article to the full text is summarized, points out the deficiency of the paper and the research direction in the future.
