Development And Reserch On The System Of Structure Design Strength Check And Structure Optimization For The Steel Yacht

At present,the classification,statutory surveys and structure design of steel yatch is mainly based on the specifications issued by the vessel inspection departments and classification society of countries.For onething,there is cumbersome clauses and huge amount of computation in the specifications and work efficency is affected;For another,in order to reduce construction cost and improve the performace of yachts,its weight and hull section area must be reduced as much as possible.In order to solve the topic above,this paper mainly do the following several aspects of work:(1)Analyzing the method of direct calculation of hull structure strength、the principle of hull structure optimization and the requirements of Yatch classification and construction specification(2012)about the calculation of design load,the method of structure design,hull grider structural strength and stability,we confirmed system framework of steel yatch structure design,strength check and optimization.(2)Establishing a general database for yatch structure design and optimization.so the database of yatch structure design load, structure design, strength check and optimization can be saved currently and called easily.(3) Establishing profile database and it is convenient and necessary to use in the work of structure design.The profile which is able to meet the requirement of calculation was called automatically form profile database in the work of structure design.In addtion,standard profiles was called tautologically from profile database in the iteration fo tructure optimization.(3) Through the analysis of theory of genetic algorithm,requirements of specifications and structure strength,the structrue optimization mathematical model including design variables、constraints,objective function was established,so the structure optimization results can meet the requirements of specifications and strength.(5) With the VB and Access database development platform,we development the module of hull design load,hull structure design,strength check of hull structure,hull grillage structure optimization and hull section structure optimization.Finally, the system of steel yacht design load calculation, structure design,structure strength check and structure optimization was programmed in the platform of VB and Access database.The system interface has the characteristics of friendly, simple operation and good interaction. The system not only inprove the work efficency about steel yacht structure design but also reduced the weight of structure of it.Through the test and analysis of examples, every modules of system work properly, and the system have high application value.
