Research On The Technology Of Multi-data Link Integration

In the process of military informatization, many countries have developed a lot of data link system with the development of operations concept and information technology, and lead to the presence of a variety of data link system in the army of the same country. However, these data link system can’t achieve information sharing, they are “information silo” to each other.This paper made a study of multi-data link integration at the message level. Based on the theory of ontology, this paper proposed a method to integrate data link messages by analyzing the format of the data link message.The main contents of this paper are shown as follows:Firstly, this paper introduced the background and significance of our research. This part introduced that it’s important to use data link in the modern warfare, and pointed out the difficulties in the integration of multi-data link. Then, a survey of researches about multi-data link integration done by the Americans was discussed.Secondly, this paper studied the data link message standard. This part introduced the basic concept of message standard and some typical message standards of US military. Based on this, an analysis of the heterogeneous problems between the various message standards was made.Thirdly, this paper studied the ontology-based method for multi-data link message integration. This part studied how to solve these multi-data link message integration problems by using the ontology technology. Meanwhile, an ontology-based multi-data link message integration method was put forward.Fourthly, this paper introduced the build methodology of data link message local ontologies. This part proposed a method to build data link message local ontologies, and introduced the whole building process of this method with specific examples.Lastly, this paper introduced the build methodology of data link message domain ontologies.
