At the end of the year of the national five-year plan, the energy problem is still a major problem facing our country. And as new sources of energy conservation and environmental protection, people has higher requirement for the LED power, but in LED power increase at the same time, it also increased the difficulty of the LED lamps and lanterns, heat dissipation, especially high power LED lamps and lanterns of LED junction temperature to rise. Because not only is the LED luminous flux and light power performance parameters, such as, even the life of the LED lamps and lanterns is under the influence of the LED junction temperature. In practice, therefore, to control the temperature of LED lamps and lanterns. Based on this, this article from the LED heat dissipation technology guidance to study the temperature of the LED street lamp, the temperature control system design, through to how to increase the cooling efficiency and reduce the energy consumption of the cooling device, and extend the service life of cooling equipment and the LED street lamp were studied.In this paper, the work principle, advantages and properties of the LED parameters for a simple overview, and then on this basis, the LED lighting technology and cooling technology. According to the characteristic of LED, the system use Zig Bee technology to realize the wireless communication, at the same time, use the PWM technology for dimming control, designed an intelligent control system integrated with temperature sensor. Then the paper introduces the artificial neural network principle and PID controller form a more effective controller, single neuron PID controller. Finally on this basis, to mathematical modeling of temperature of LED lamps and lanterns, using MATLAB/Simulink research on it. Temperature curve is obtained by the simulation experiments in contrast, after joining the neural network, can control the temperature of LED lamps and lanterns more smoothly, temperature adaptability and robustness is enhanced in the system, reduce the overshoot phenomenon. System oscillation occurs, especially in the temperature control effect, thus improve the service life of the LED.
