Abstract/Summary:
Feeder automation is an important part of intelligent power distribution, which purpose is to study to realize the monitoring and control of feeder efficiently and fast, improve the power supply reliability of distribution, reduce the users’ power outage time.IEC61850 is a specification of standardizing the communication of intelligent electronic device(IED) in substation and other related system, which is aimed to unify the communication interface between equipments and improve equipments’ interoperability.So it will be the unified standard of power system in the future. Introducing IEC61850 to feeder automation can enhance the access of feeder automation system equipments, communication, configuration and maintenance, etc. Based on IEC61850, this paper will do in-depth research modeling and communications in feeder automation system.Based on the comparison of the traditional fault feeder automation scheme on a fault handling feeder automation scheme, this paper designed a feeder automation system scheme on fault handling, framework and network structure based on IEC61850. Through the analysis of feeder intelligent terminal’s function and the existing of IEC61850 logical nodes and public data classes, found that the IEC61850 standard model does not meet the requirements of intelligent terminals feeder’s function, including fault location, fault isolation and supply restoration.Thus this paper would expand the logical nodes and data objects on fault handling function validly. At the same time this project researched and developed series of feeder automation device for functional decomposition and abstract information modeling, and finally created the feeder intelligent terminal model of IEC61850 standard. In order to verify the adaptability of IEC 61850 communication in feeder automation, this project builded a platform to test the communication of MMS and GOOSE, and analyzed the Ethernet packets by the network packet analysis software Wireshark and message analysis software Msg Analysis Sys. The test results showed that MMS/ GOOSE service functions meet the requirement of various communication in feeder automation. In addition, this paper set up a closed-loop test feeder automation test platform based on RTDS, testing feeder cases of fault in different regions and the feeder intelligent terminal to send control signal to RTDS, realizing fault location, fault isolation and supply restoration function in feeder automation system, validating the real-time and reliability of feeder automaiton system solutions based on IEC61850.
