As the largest land of concentrated using area in the subway construction, metro depot can make full use of the upper space to synthetically develop residence, hotel, office building and school etc. It not only can improve the usage rate of urban land, but also can create new profit space for the subway construction and achieve the sustainable development of subway construction-operation-reconstruction, so that create significant economic and social benefits. Due to frequent train operation in the depot, the train produce random excitation vibration which transmit to the buildings above through the bed, column and the platform, and then cause the vibration, and further lead to secondary radiation noise. It affect people’s normal life and work, and seriously restrict the large-scale development of upper property in the depot. Because of the short history of subway depot upper property, the actual project and related research is rare. In this paper, take the metro depot as research object, and utilize the method of field test to analyze vibration and noise effect induced by train running systematacially.Firstly, on the basis of deeply analyzing and summarizing the related domestic and international standards about the vibration and noise, the article studied evaluation standard of vibration and noise due to train running in metro depot. Then, the vibrations and noise of ground and nearby buildings induced by moving trains were studied through field experiments in typical subway depot in Guangzhou. Finally, this paper did a research on vibration under top head platform, on the platform and in top head building where influenced by running trains on test line in metro depot with top head estates in Shenzhen. Also the vibration-induced structural noises of top head buildings were analyzed and estimated.The results were as follows:(1) The control standard for the subway vibration in our country are in higher level, both the ISO 10137:2007 and ISO 10137:2007 can be used for vibration evaluation in metro depot, but JGJ/T 170-2009 is more strict than ISO 10137:2007;(2)The horizontal vibration is stronger than vertical motion in curve segment in throat area of metro depot. Therefore, it should concurrently consider the effect of horizontal vibration and vertical vibration in evaluation of environmental impact of vibration in throat area;(3) The analysis on vibration of top head building show that the vertical vibration is primary, and it contains wider frequencies from low to high ones over 80 Hz. Vibration doesn’t monotonously increased or monotonously decrease with the increase in height of building and the propagation laws of vibration in two directions aren’t consistent;(4)It can better play a role in vibration reduction through laying mattress in track bed and setting open trench beside the track.
