Research On Renewal In Kaiping Diaolou Villages By Theme Hotel Model

Kaiping diaolou and villages has accession to the world cultural heritage in 2007,the protection of its exploitation and utilization has became a hot spot.there are lots of research on development of heritage sites have been put forward,but the heritage village in kaiping were ignored, as the blind spot of kaiping diaolou village conservation and development. Ancient villages were recorded as a witness to the historical evolution of kaiping area change and development of the society,it has important historical and cultural value.but it has not got enough concerns, the condition of the ancient villages is very horrible, a large number of houses were ruined, village living environment is very poor,it did not form a complete set of municipal infrastructure, due to no money to repair,many protect buildings were abandoned. Ancient villages are in urgent need of effective and feasible way to update themselves with renewed vigor, to adapt to modern social life.The current of kaiping diaolou and villages development mode and organic update are museum and Farmhouse restaurant, but after a period of operation, due to the limitation of the ancient village, the development of the two patterns are not satisfactory,it shows that,those two kinds of models are not suitable for kai-ping yu diaolou and villages. Due to the particularity of the heritage sites, the mode of development is very limited, in this case, the heritage site of kaiping diaolou ancient village have an advantage in the tourism development. The ancient village also has the common features of kaiping diaolou and villages, has a unique development potential.In this paper, the author has carried on the detailed analysis and research of theme hotel and the update way of historical village, put forward in the form of theme hotel pattern for the village to update; Using the above research results, the kaiping diaolou village as the research object,the author has made the feasibility analysis of it from the macroscopic and microscopic two levels, further proves the feasibility of theme hotel model updating in a village.The author made a detailed analysis of the kaiping diaolou village, put forward the concept of kaiping typical diaolou villages, and to define its scope, combined with the feature of typical diaolou village, made it to match with the aspects of theme hotel build, puts forward general solutions for different problems, sum up the important issues should be focus on in the process construction of theme hotel.By targeted research in detail, selecting the typical kaiping villages- Rong Gui fang as the object of theme hotel build research, the author has carried on the detailed analysis of the hotel location, scale, space layout and function configuration, in the course of the study,put forward targeted solutions of the specific problems.This article focus on the kaiping diaolou village update, and made a detailed research on different aspects of theme hotel, by putting the theme hotel integrate with the typical kaiping diaolou village, using the means of theme hotel build to make update of kaiping diaolou village, provides a new means and methods for the development of kaiping diaolou village, and enriches the construction and the kinds of theme hotel cases in our country.
