The system of the steel frame with construction member resisting the lateral load is regarded as one of the fabricated steel structure residence systems in common use and because of its advantages of environmental protection and industrialization, it has promising application. Base on the pre-existing research result of the adjustable beam height fabricated joint and composite beam, adopt experiment and numerical modeling to make the systematic study of the seismic behaviors of the new type fabricated steel frame with construction member resisting the lateral load. The main research contents are as follows:1) experimental study: adopt pseudo-dynamic test, on the basis of the prototype of the steel frame with construction member resisting the lateral load which is designed as 7 degree common wave, the test specimens are designed as 1:2 geometry reduced scale, they are a steel frame with buckling-restrained braces and a steel frame with steel-plate shear walls which are both loaded by displacement. Through the structural system’s response and phenomenon loaded by different seismic waves, know whether their displacement satisfy the request of standard under design intensity wave and reveal the system’s failure mode and mechanism under the big waves, as emphasis, the construction members and connection joints’ failure modes and mechanism are investigated too.2) numerical modeling: adopt ABAQUS to build the detailed model of three storeys frame, and make use of the pre-existing experiment’s result to check the rationality of numerical model; on this basis, through the analysis of pseudo-dynamic overall process, know of the system and components’ failure mode and response’s law under seismic load. Meanwhile for increasing numerical analysis’ s efficiency, carry out the research of structural system’s multiscale finite element analysis, and put forward the simplified method of adjustable beam height fabricated joints and composite beams.The main results indicate: two models’ deformation both satisfied the request of standard under seismic load, and have good seismic behaviors and good energydissipating capacity; the adjustable beam height joint is in accordance with the request of the stronger joint; The failure of composite beams is from the beam-end’s diagonal crack to the beam-middle’s horizontal crack;end plate’s unstability is one of the brace’s main failure mode, so that need to strengthen it from structure; the bolt holes of the steel-plate shear walls’ corners were pulled to failure so that can thicken it; The stiffness of test specimen’s multiscale model is bigger than soild model’s, and the error of multiscale model and solid model is less than 5% in the elastic stage.
