With the development of China’s national economy and the implementing of Development of West Regions, the airport construction in moutains develop rapidly. Most of the western mountains mountainous topography and complex geological structure. So the construction of the airport will face a large-scale high embankment. During the construction of these high embankment, due to the construction period and quality differences, the connecting zone has to face some issues,for example temporary high steep slope and after settlement and so on.So, the deformation and stability control is still the important problems of airport high embankment construction.This paper relies on the third runway in Chongqing Jiangbei Airport expansion project,takes the high fill which at seven or eight blocks overlap area in Qingshan vally as its research obiect. through the exploration of the topographic and geologic conditions in Qingshan valley, the monitor of deformation in filling process at the important part of reclamation,the optimization about reclamation program of first fill-slope above elevation 360 m,the analysis of the settlement at the lap portion between first fill and second fill,and the optimization of anchor structure in high steep bedrock-fill slope,get some relevant laws about high embankment stability and deformation, provides a reference for similar airport projects.In this paper,main tasks are as follows:1)According to the survey of engineering geological conditions about overlap area in Qingshan valley, clarified the difficulties of filling in succession and the material composition of filler; use the deformation monitoring data in key parts of the reclamation site, get the parameters of filler through inversion.2)Through the comparison with three filling plans of high slope above elevation 360 m, determine the optimization reclamation program, and use Qingshan terrain, set up the three-dimensional model of the actual reclamation program, analyze the stability and deformation characteristics of filling body in filling process.3)Use FLAC3 D, simulation analyze the settlement of follow-fill and differential settlement between first-fill and follow-fill, analyze the sensitivity of parameters which influence the deformation characteristics of fills, through comparison with reinforced(geogrid) and unreinforced, different way of reinforced and different parameters, gives the proposal plan which control differential settlement.4)Put forward a radial anchoring structure of strengthening high steep rock-fill interface, use PFC2 D to analyze its anti-drawing performance. According to the actual project overview of high steep bedrock in Qingshan valley, design the parameters of radial anchoring structure, use FLAC3 D to set up three-dimensional model, verify and supplement the anchoring structure.
