With the ceaselessly ongoing urbanization route, more and more slope engineering is made in the construction of civil, road, bridge, water conservancy project and city construction, and its scale is larger, and needed technical requirements and economic requirement become increasingly higher. Large slope height, but low circle sliding stability coefficient, and high cost ratio when slide-resistant pile and anchored retaining wall supporting structure is chosen. So these slopes are in need of systematic and theoretical studying, and to explore supporting method to expand the progressive road of slope engineering.Based on the understanding of simple application property and low cost ratio of chemical churning pile, the supporting concept of vertical reinforcement is exposure.The vertical reinforcement technology is a kind of slope supporting method to reduce engineering cost ratio, which is derived from slide-resistant pile methods. Combine with sprayed concrete layer, short anchor and plain concrete pile, it is a new supporting technique of slope, which has the features of high stability and high economic benefit,and can change the difficult plight when primary supporting methods face by above-mentioned slope problems, to meet the changing market situation.This paper is starting with the studying of vertical reinforcement method,analyzing the issues which vertical reinforcement improves the slope stability and changes the location of the most dangerous sliding surface in the homogeneous clay slope, and discussing the influence of vertical reinforcement equivalent width and strength classes of concrete to the stability and the location, then proposing an opinion that flexural behavior of chemical churning pile is in the important position of vertical reinforcement technique. After that, the flexural behavior of chemical churning pile is studying from theoretical analysis and numerical simulation perspective. And the influence and law of soil parameters of shear strength and geometrical parameters of slope to the pile internal force is discussed. At the same time, the rationality of vertical reinforcement is tested.Finally, the design analysis is carried on the slope project near the Chongqing Fuling Mountain Nanma, and the result is satisfactory. The analysis process has indicated that the rationality and the superiority of vertical reinforcement technique. Atthe circumstance of assuring stability, steel materials was saved, the constructional difficulties and the project cost ratio was reduced. It possesses a very good economic benefit. The favorable flexural behavior of chemical churning pile provides theoretical foundation to vertical reinforcement technique, and conducts qualitative analysis to it.And the formation of new design method forward with its contributions. It has the unutterable theory and practical value. But the researching is just started, as the expertise. There is still many work need to do, which is the key place in the next stage.
