Research On Wansheng Aotaoji Resort Hotel Design Based On Genius Loci

Chinese tourism industry has experienced a development process from tourism to leisure and resort. At present, the three kinds of tourism’s forms coexist together. Resort is a trend and it will become a key development goals and direction. Resort hotel is bored from resort. It trends quality,theming and ecological. At the same time,the resort’s fierce competition lead to the place which is lack of genius loci. Homogenization of the phenomenon still exists. Vacationers had fatigued under the intense competition,and they lost freshness with traditional hotel. Constructing genius loci of resort hotel is more and more important. As a result, the method of resort hotel design based on genius loci becomes mainly study.In this paper, genius loci theory is the guiding ideology supported by Wansheng Aotaoji resort hotel design. Combining the status of overall environment, the construction method is used into practice. Finally, on the basis of analysis in the actual project, we put forward some reflections on the resort premises spirit to provide some help and reference values for the future design of the resort.This paper has six chapters and expands the discussion around the project.ChapterⅠ We mainly elaborate the reason of the paper selected, the research background, the research object of the paper, the research purpose and meaning, and the current research on the literature review.Chapter Ⅱ Genius loci Resort theory and related concepts are described. Resolving the core concepts of the theory of the Genius loci, this paper places the Genius loci theoretical framework of the sort, theory, place respectively. On this basis, the experience of the process of spiritual sites is analyzed. Secondly, features and classification of the resort and the resort hotel are described. Finally, the questionnaire survey analysis heart demands of vacationers, the consistency of the Genius loci and the nature of the resort, and the need of the Genius loci applied to resort hotel. As a result, reasons of the three aspects of the Genius loci theory injected into the resort of reasons have been resolved.Chapter Ⅲ is asking a question. For the requirements of Genius loci theory on resort hotel architectural design, we interpret the overall environment of Wansheng Aotaoji resort hotel. Starting from the topography, climate, vegetation and other natural environments and folk culture, local residential characteristics and other cultural situation, we analysis and comb the problem of Wansheng Aotaoji resort hotel facedChapter Ⅳ is analyzing the question. The Genius loci elements of the theory of place, Genius loci, the relationship of the core place, space and place features and these five properties are put on the resort’s design. Combined with the author’s field research case, the paper has summed up the design of strategies and methods under the guidance of the spirit of the resort in the workplace theory.Chapter Ⅴis solving the question. Foregoing analysis the use of Genius loci in the resort hotel design, combined with the problem of Wansheng Aotaoji resort hotel faced, built from the building of core place relationship, space building and place features, the perspective of these three sites are used to guide Wan sheng Aotaoji resort hotel design, construction, etc.Chapter Ⅵ is end. Under the analysis and summary of the project practice and Genius loci theory, the paper presents own thinking from two principles including the workplace characteristics and the hotel’s design places under the guidance of the spirit of genius loci, and Resort development has been made in future.
