The interferometer can be used for detection of atmospheric temperature, humidity profiles and cloud parameters, and is of great value for the development of China’s weather forecast, atmospheric composition analysis and military weather support etc. The interference spectrum technology is the realization of Michelson interference principle, which has high luminous flux, high spectral resolution, and wide range of spectral measurement. It caused widespread concern in the scientific community.According to the space-borne interferometer optical requirements, mechanical structure of interferometer is designed and frame structure is determined. The internal components of the moving mirror, components of laser detector, pneumatic locking device, beam splitter, adjusting mechanism of fixed mirror and other parts have be designed. Research on adjusting mechanism can solve the change of parallelism of two interference beams by environmental changes or mechanical test. Through test it is seen that the resolution of azimuth angle is 1.7μrad and the resolution of tilt angle is 1.73μrad.The surface deformation of beam splitter, the moving mirror and the fixed mirror due to support are simulated and analyzed, using the appropriate flexible supporting material. The maximum loads which cause beam splitter,moving mirror and fixed mirror allowed deformation are obtained.The finite element analysis model of interferometer is established, and its mode has been analyzed. The ability of anti-jamming is analyzed by simulation of interferometer’s micro sloshing and the results give changes of angle is 2μrad in different frequency. According to the analysis of acceleration, impact, sinusoidal vibration and random vibration of interferometer on the locked state, it is seen that all maximum equivalent stress is lower than the yield strength of the material and all interferometer mechanical designs meet the requirements of strength. Finally, experiments show anterior analysis of the data is reliable.For space-borne interferometer, the mechanical structure has great technical difficulties. This paper solves two-dimensional correction of angle, mirror adjustment control, resistance of vibration and so on. And the interferometer of light weight, high stiffness and good mechanical stability are obtained.
