With the development of the computer technology, the function of CAE system has been improved greatly. As the electrical equipments are applied in the ‘Electric- Magnetic- Thermal-Fluid’ coupling field, the anlysis of this problems can reduce not only the costs of design, but also the design and analysis cycle. In this paper, three electrical equipments for multi-physics coupling analysis are selected, which include doubly salient motor, bus-bar EMI filter and dry-type air-core reactor. This paper consists of several parts as follows:In the part of the motor, firstly the multi-physics coupling FEM model is been built, including the FEM method to handle the problem of motor rotation. Based on this, the hysteresis loss coefficient of the silicon is solved combined with experiment, and then the loss of the motor is solved using this hysteresis loss coefficient. To solve this problem, the data of the electromagnetic field and thermal-flow field is two-way coupling through the temperature dependence of electrical resistivity.In the part of the EMI filter, firstly the principle and the production process of bus-bar EMI filter is expounded. After a sample produced, the multi-physics coupling FEM model is built to extract the electromagnetic parameters and the ampacity; Considering the characteristic of the EMI filter, the quasi distributed parameter model is made to keep the accuracy and to reduce the amount of computation, and then the high frequency performance is predicted by this model. Because the lack of inductance in this kind of EMI filter structure can not be ignored, the programs of enhancing inductance are proposed and applied in power converter.In the part of reactor, the pretreated multivariable conbining primary / secondary double constraint optimization is proposed. Based on solving the multi-physics coupling FEM model of the reactor, the parameters used for the optimization is extracted. And though the whole process, the optimization and the FEM is combined by the reconstruction of the finite element model, which the integration of the optimization and FEM is achieved.Based on the theoretical foundation above the anlysis, design and optimization of the electrical equipments are expressed in the three part above, which provide a reference and reference for engineering application.
