Iron-aluminum-powder soft magnetic composite is a kind of magnetic composite material, which mainly contains the raw materials, such as cement, iron powder and aluminum powder, with huge economic advantages, good working performance and broad application prospect. Based on the analysis of the magnetic properties experiment, the working performance of transformer, economic analysis and quantitative analysis of fuzzy theory, iron-aluminum-powder soft magnetic composite is studied about properties of the composite and application of the feasibility and value in the transformer.Experimental data illustrated that the iron-aluminum-powder composite is a kind of soft magnetic composite materials with easy permeability and demagnetization, which is suitable for the transformer core. Under the premise of transformer’s normal work, each ratio of this material could replace 10%~30% of the transformer’s sheet steel, when the rate reached 40% or more, the transformer could not work normally. Based on the maximum replace rate, different ratio of iron-aluminum-powder soft magnetic composite material as a substitute to transformer core shows different working temperature performance, and compared with other material ratio, the rise-rate of temperature reached the lowest. And all the transformer ratio of soft magnetic materials showed better stability than that of standard transformer output voltage, while lower ratio-voltage reflected the effectiveness of soft magnetic material transformer for power transmission and transformation, and the adjustment coefficient for rated output voltage was introduced. Cost calculation and analysis of concrete material reflected that this material had a better economic advantage. Adopting fuzzy theory to analyze the work performance, cost factors of the iron-aluminum-powder transformer comprehensively, the best replace rate and the optimal ratio were obtained, 30% and 1:4:1, respectively.
