At the same time, with the improvement of people’s living standard, all kinds of living facilities also gradually into the family, which is associated with residential increasingly serious noise pollution problem. And residential environment is good or bad, will directly affect the residents’ quality of life and health of body and mind. How to build a harmonious ecological living environment, which requires a whole ecological environment system and some understanding to the overall planning of the village, under the condition of without destroying the overall system, reasonable landscape planning and design, to the village to build a healthy, harmonious, ecological living environment.Quiet and beautiful village living environment is the guarantee of healthy life, is an important factor of elegant people living comfort, but at present our country is in the majority area due to the improper design of the early stage of the noise produced many problems, so the noise caused serious impact on people’s lives.In this paper, we want to carry on the reasonable landscape design of residential area and to reduce the effect of noise. First analyzes the environment of residential area landscape design in in-depth research, analysis, and summarized the causes of deficiency of the noise reduction effect. And on the basis of the theory of the old residential area landscape design, from the perspective of "noise", dig deeper into its design, has carried on the preliminary study of residential area landscape design, and through the city garden residential area landscape design a pair of "noise" research, finally through to the future trend of the residential area landscape design are summarized and prospected.
