How to build a good mall indoor environment have been became a hot issue of the field of architectural science. This paper takes a North mall as research object, studies on the effects of mall entrance fresh air on indoor air quality with numerical simulation method.This paper takes a four-floor shopping mall construction in Tangshan City as research object, establishes indoor environmental model and simulates indoor air quality with entrance fresh air. The results showed that the effects of mall entrance fresh air on indoor air quality performed decreasing tendency layer by layer, CO2 density achieves the primary standard of indoor air quality evaluation(≤600ppm)in first floor, while it has no influence to fourth floor. Outdoor climate conditions have a strong influence on the indoor environment, the PPD value in entrance higher than other places.Simulate study on the effects of entrance fresh air on indoor air quality in winter. The results showed that the speed which belongs to invasion of fresh air has stronger influence than the temperature. The temperature and CO2 density perform a reduced decreasing tendency with the speed of fresh air increases. When the door is closed, invasion of fresh air has small influence on indoor environment. The PPD value is lower than where the door is opened. There is low temperature zone only around the gap.Study on the effects of air curtain in mall on indoor air quality. The results showed that the air curtain has strong influence on indoor air temperature and speed when the door is opened. It’s increased a little than where is no air curtain. The indoor zone which dissatisfied the cephalopodium vertical temperature difference standard(lower than 3℃) become bigger and bigger with the decrease of air curtain speed.Establish outdoor environment model based on climate boundary conditions of Tangshan and simulate outdoor wind environment, from which we can get the speed and directions of wind in entrance in summer and winter.
