The Research Of Test And Measurement Technology About The Frametype Circuit Bresker’s Accessories

Breaker can be roughly divided into Frametype, MCCB and MCB. Among them, the Frametype is mainly used to protect electrical equipment from damage caused by over-current, under-voltage and short circui,etc.Current scope of the frametype circuit breaker is relatively large,generally placed in the location close to the transformer or in the front of line,using a variety of control accessories achieve its different operations.People tend to be more concerned about the operating performance of the circuit breaker itself,while ignoring the performance of its accessories.The reliability of the circuit breaker to some extent depend on the reliability of their accessories,whose quality is directly related to the safety of electricity. Therefore, the circuit breaker accessories` research is of great significance.This article first categorized the operating accessories` failures of frametype circuit breker,maily focusing on the process of energy storage,circuit breaker closing,circuit breaker opening and the under-voltage release tripping.With reference to domestic Frametype circuit breaker accessory` structure and principle, analysizing deeply the causes of its falure.Determining to monitor electrical parameters in energy storage,circuit breaker closing,circuit breaker opening and undervoltage release tripping process.Proposing frametypr circuit breaker accessories` test and detection methods:in circuit breaker mechanical life test,plusing the test and detection for the key accessories,in which choosing the allowance of current peak,current duration,trip voltage and other parameters for determining whether the failure of the accessories.Designing test equipment.In hardware,the system selects the IPC as the core,using USB-7648 A and PCL-818 HD capture card for Frametype accessory the collection of electrical parameters,using PCL-720 + driver board for the control unit,using solid state relays control breaker closing, opening,and voltage adhusting operations.In software,designing test device control software based on Labview software platform and modular designing concept,the interactive interface facilitates the user operation of the test device,which achieving the automatic test run,automatic fault determination,data automatically saved and other functions.This paper provides a theoretical basis and method for the testing and detection of Frametype circuit breaker accessories.Test results show that the developed detection system is easy,practical,automated and suits all the electrical parameters of different types of Frametype circuit breaker accessory for testing,while monitoring the circuit breaker mechanical life itself,which has a high practical value.
