This paper defined placed a prestressed reinforcement in the vertical center of the ordinary reinforced concrete column to provide vertical prestress and bind steel strip in column section to provide transverse prestress as three direction prestressed reinforced concrete column. The sample can effectively improve the seismic performance of reinforced concrete columns and the shear capacity.In this paper, completed 4 of three direction prestressed reinforced concrete column and 2 ordinary reinforced concrete column to the low cyclic loading test,determined axial compression ratio,shear span ratio,vertical prestress degree on the seismic performance effects of three direction prestressed reinforced concrete column.Based on the development of cracks in all specimens, specimen failure patterns,hysteretic curves and skeleton curves were studied: the three direction prestressed reinforced concrete column shear capacity, deformation ability, strength degradation,stiffness degradation, energy dissipation and reduction ability is superior to the ordinary reinforced concrete column, but the ductility of three direction prestressed reinforced concrete column lower than that of ordinary reinforced concrete column.because the yielding deformation of the prestressed concrete specimens were larger than that of the control specimen.. In general, the seismic performances of the prestressed concrete specimens were much better than that of the control specimens, and thereby the original design aim and objects were verifiedBased on the test results, to establish the shear capacity of skeleton curves of restoring force model of three direction prestressed reinforced concrete column. With the calculation of the horizontal load and displacement of crack point yield point andlimit point of 4 different parameters of three direction prestressed reinforced concrete column and 2 ordinary reinforced concrete column. Compared the calculated value and the experimental value.of shear capacity skeleton curves of specimens determined the simplified method for shear capacity skeleton curves of restoring force model of three direction prestressed reinforced concrete column.
