The development of the economy promotes a large number of demand for coal, oil,gas and other fossil fuels,bringing the problem of environmental pollution inevitably,.Facing the current situation, the country is paying attenation to the clean,efficient,renewable energy, efficient and recycling. China has rich wind resource with a large territory, wind energy can reduce the environmental problems effectively,caused by fossil energy. The vertical axis wind turbine has the advantages of simple structure,easy installation and maintenance, low noise and other advantages.It is suit to install outdoor and meet the power demands of residents in the daily life.Our country has not a completed method in the vertical axis wind turbine of aerodynamic design, there is a certain gap between the numerical simulation and the actual model calculation, resulting in the numerical simulation is not used to quantitative analysis but to analysis aerodynamic characteristics of wind turbine.Because the numerical simulation technology is a method,dividing the model into differential model,calculated by using the grid, so the grid has a direct impact on the simulation results. In this paper, according to the H type vertical axis wind turbine as the object, researching how the mesh impacts on the vertical axis wind turbine simulation based on the Fluent, and design a H type vertical axis wind turbine with 300 W power.Based on the H type vertical axis wind turbine as the researching object,do following research based on the numerical simulation software Fluent: ①Build 2 dimension wind turbine,change the density of mesh and the Y+ value near the blades, analysis how the Y+ impacts on the wind turbine simulation;②Analysis the influence of basic parements of H type vertical axis wind turbine such as,blade installation angle, the radius of the wind turbine with conclusion that how the Y+ influents the simulation;③According to the data,which obtained by simulation,design a H type vertical axis wind turbine with 300 W power;④Solve the matching problems sush as,the speed between the wind turbine and generator, the starting torque on wind turbine;⑤Test and analysis the different paremeters on the 300 W power H type vertical axis wind turbine.After the research and test, this paper offers some theoretical basis and reference value for the subsequent scholars who study,improve and optimize vertical axis wind turbine based on Fluent.
