This paper mainly aims at proposing some improving schemes to currently existing problems of seismic performance evaluation of super high-rise buildings with long period, chooses an actual long-period super high-rise structure as the study example to analyze the seismic response with the finite element analysis software Perform-3D, summarizes and puts forward a more reasonable seismic evaluation method for this kind of structures; According to the seismic evaluation results, it also proposes several corresponding schemes for improving the seismic performance, which is verified by the seismic analysis of the study example, and finally sums up some suggestions for improving the seismic performance of long-period super high-rise structures. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) How to choose the earthquake reasonably in the seismic performance evaluation of long-period super high-rise structures. The analysis results of the study example(including a total of 50 earthquake records of different kinds) show that, during the phase of choosing earthquake records, a variety of factors(duration, period and the fitting degree with the response spectrum, etc) should be considered comprehensively, which can guarantee the diversity and the most unfavorablity of seismic analysis results of structures to some extent, as a result, to guarantee the reliability. And it also proposes the principle of choosing earthquake records for long-period super high-rise structures: it should fully consider the effects of long-period earthquakes, long-duration earthquakes and artificial fitting earthquakes on the seismic responses of structures, and should also consider choosing some classic earthquake records in history as supplement.(2) The rationality and security of seismic performance evaluation methods of long-period super high-rise structures. With pushover analysis, dynamic elastic-plastic time-history analysis and energy response analysis respectively, it gets and compares the seismic analysis results of the study example. For fully considering several key performance indices, such as the total structural deformation, the structural energy accumulation, and the energy dissipation and damage of components, as well as improving reliability and security of the seismic performance evaluation, it puts forward the seismic performance evaluation method for long-period super high-rise structures: both elastic-plastic time-history analysis and structure energy response analysis should be carried out for evaluating seismic performance of this kind of structures, and if necessary, it should add pushover analysis for checking.(3) The study on the schemes of energy dissipation and seismic mitigation of long-period super high-rise structures. With modern development achievements of energy dissipation and seismic mitigation technology, it proposes several energy dissipation and seismic mitigation schemes: buckling restrained braces(BRB) and fluid viscous dampers(FD) are applied to this kind of structure system for controlling some safety indices, such as the total plastic energy dissipation of structures and structural displacement. By comparison of effects of these energy dissipation and seismic mitigation schemes on the study example, it gives several suggestions and conclusions on energy dissipation and seismic mitigation of long period super high-rise structures, which can provide the basis for analyses of similar actual construction projects in the future. |
