Lumbar disc herniation, as the most common spinal surgery, has a serious impact on the daily work and lives of patients. It has been found that the majority of patients in the initial stage of the disease with a non-surgical treatment that can achieve effective treatment. In this paper, based on the mechanism of traction treatment, a new type of mechanism for treating the disease by means of traction manipulation is designed, and the medical staff is freed from manual labor. Compared with the medical equipment, this device has the characteristics of compact structure, low cost, easy control and can achieve the independent treatment for patients in family.Based on the thought of raising problem, analyzing problem and solving problem, the contents of this paper are as follows. Firstly, the Pathogenesis of lumbar disc disease and treatment methods have been studied, then puts forward to use Parallel mechanism and space closed chain mechanism to drive the plate institutions. Secondly, by comparing their advantages and disadvantages, and ultimately determines to use roller screw to drive the first board and use the space closed chain mechanism to drive the second board. And according to the overall design needs, the design specification has been put forward. The thirdly, through refer to the mechanical design manual, the design calculation of the roller screw and the motor have been completed. The motor model and Roller screw type have been confirmed. And some related parts have also been checked. Analysis the spatial closed-chain mechanism with the method of D-H coordinate, use the MATLAB and ADAMS to analysis the statics characteristic and dynamic characteristic of the device, obtained the relationship between velocity and acceleration of the artifacts with the input angle, and the force between artifacts. This device we designed could do well in the task smoothly, efficiently. Fourthly, according to the using condition of the device, use ANSYS to run the statics analysis, Kinematics analysis, dynamics analysis. Each vibration mode of the frame have been got. Harmonic response analysis with the frame in the method of modal superposition have been done, then the displacement and frequency curve of the frame under different frequency harmonic force have been got. It came to the conclusion that the resonance phenomenon will not happen in the process of device used. Finally put forward with the single chip processor as the core of control system, to let the patients treat disease independently, a preliminary study about the hardware and software design have been completed in the fifth chapter.
