Faced with challenges of rapid urbanization and sustainable coal mining activities on the urban ecological environment, and how to resolve conflicts between economic development and ecological environment, and to explore healthy urbanization under the concept of ecological civilization, has become an important issue facing China today. Green Infrastructure as a method of protection and restoration of natural resources,is important to Guide the sustainable development of urban space and solve urban environmental problems.Xuzhou is Coal City in the depletion of resources, its urban ecological space affected by urban sprawl and coal mining subsidence, showing atrophy of ecological space, landscape structural damaged, ecological function, and connectivity issues reducing. In this context, it is of great significant to tap the potential ecological resources, recover land subsidence overall, improve the ecological significance of urban space environment, to explore for models of green infrastructure and technical methods is significant. In this paper, the author selects Xuzhou metropolitan area for the study. Firstly, on the basis of the research on Green infrastructure at home and abroad and outstanding cases classification, Analysis of the problem and the basic characteristics of the condition of the city ecological space, research results is facing rapid urbanization in Xuzhou Coal Mining Subsidence and double ecological threat, green infrastructure reconstruction is necessary. On this basis, the basic principles and objectives of the proposed green infrastructure Xuzhou Construction are put forward, that is, tap the potential of urban space resources, build networks, multi-level ecological space in the the principle of the protection and restoration. For these objectives, based on GIS and RS platform, this paper process and analysis the Xuzhou remote sensing and spatial data, identify important ecological plaque, and the establishment of corridors through the minimum cost path model, and build a green infrastructure network. Finally, compared with the present status of Xuzhou ecological space planning, this paper explore how to integrate the result to the traditional urban planning system, and proposed spatial planning adaptation strategies under the green infrastructure ecological theory.
