With the development of science and technology in automotive manufacturing, the information demand of shop floor production is growing higher. For the various types of data acquisition and processing in the shop floor production processes, how to be timely and effectively to record and upload to the enterprise upper information management system, for efficient management of the enterprise is extremely important.In the vehicle manufacturing production line, the production environment is changing, and the process is complex. How to be effectively to use RFID technology in the production line is a question worth exploring. In this thesis, we do some research about the RFID technology applications in information collection aspects.Firstly, this thesis introduces the background and the issues be explored. It analyzes the research situation of domestic and foreign MES system and RFID technology, and puts forward the purpose of this study and the main content of this research.Secondly, this thesis describes the RFID system technology. It analyzes the composition and working principle of RFID system, electronic tag collision type. It emphasizes RFID technology applications in the production line of vehicle manufacturing.Thirdly,according to the design principle and the characteristics of the MES systems, it builds the overall framework of the MES system of based on RFID of the production line of vehicle manufacturing, and focuses on the study of the structure of the function, physic and information flow model.Fourth, for the realization of the MES system based on RFID of the production line of vehicle manufacturing, we do the main study of data acquisition and processing, and design the RFID middleware system architecture and implement the message mechanism. And we designed the MES and ERP system integration model based on XML technology. And the mutual conversion between relational databases and XML is discussed. It implements the mapping from a relational database to XML and the mapping from XML to relational database.Finally, this thesis describes the application of this data acquisition system in the workshop of one company. And it analyzes the effect of the implementation.
