Rising operation voltage levels within domestic substations have led to interests of research, where electromagnetic environment is increasingly focused by citizens, especially inside EHV substations, in the place that power equipments are highly centralized, leading to more severe electromagnetic harassment. Investigation of an effective calculation approach for electromagnetic field distribution within the whole substation, can present accurate evaluation of the field distribution, and also provide reliable reference when planning its construction, benefiting ecological environment balance layout design and reasonable electromagnetic environment. At present, the calculation of power frequency electromagnetic field mainly focuses on that near some critical equipment, while the numerical calculation aimed at any whole stations is seldom reported. Specifically, multiply equipments and complex structure inside have complicated the electromagnetic sources. Hence a kind of appropriate method for modeling and calculation it is urgently needed.The thesis has employed charge simulation method(CSM) and method of moment(MOM) to calculate and analyze power frequency electromagnetic field distribution inside substations with different operation voltage levels. Our work of investigation and the thesis are organized in the following manner:①A kind of calculation method of electric field distribution based on CSM method has been proposed. It’s effective to calculate three dimensional power frequency electric field distribution,and also more accurately characterizes the change of the electric field within the corresponding region.②Another kind of calculation method of magnetic field distribution based on MOM has been proposed. It’s effective to calculate three dimensional power frequency magnetic field distribution, meanwhile more accurately reflect the changes of the magnetic field.③A 3D model of the whole substation and the electrical equipment has been establish, according to the specific physical model of electrical equipment in the AIS substation and the impact on the surrounding space electromagnetic effect. Finally the model is simplified,so as to satisfy the actual engineering requirements expected, also providing an effective method for modeling of the whole substation in other occasions.④.Calculate and analysis of the power frequency magnetic field in substation is implemented. And numerical results are compared to measured data as well, which also verifies the correctness of the simulation. Next we have discussed the intensity of power frequency magnetic field, inspecting whether or not it exceeds exposure limit values specified in substation and finally optimization analysis of power frequency electromagnetic distribution implemented.
