Warhead is the payload of ballistic missile, which is used to destroy targets and plays an important role in a missile. As American national missile defense system develops, especially the exoatmospheric defense system, the strategic nuclear deterrent of our ballistic missiles faces big challenges. A significant technique of breaking the defense of EKV and improving the anti-defense ability of warhead is orbit maneuver.To improve the anti-defense ability of ballistic missile, this paper researches exoatmospheric anti-defense strategies. Considering that the normal overload of warhead is limited, we focus on the orbit maneuver strategy of ballistic missile warhead and establish the simulation model for analyzing. We also apply the method the powertrain of EKV is designed to the orbit maneuver powertrain of warhead and promote a way to put orbit maneuver technique into use. The main research works are as follows:We have researched exoatmospheric anti-defense strategies for ballistic missile.According to the research, we list the new development and research fields of exoatmospheric anti-defense strategies. The anti-defense strategies applied in some American and Russian missiles are introduced as well.Orbit maneuver technology is introduced, including its feature and how it works to realize anti-defense. The processes of how ballistic missiles realize anti-defense and how EKV defenses missiles are introduced in detail. The method of applying orbit maneuver is described as well.To simulate how EKV works, we analyze the parameters of both attacking missile and EKV and use them as simulation parameters. Based on these parameters, we establish dynamic models of both attacking missile and EKV and simulate their motions.We have researched exoatmospheric anti-defense orbit maneuver. The most important factor is which orbit maneuver strategy to use. By analyzing the target error of EKV, we find the best orbit maneuver strategy. We simulate continuous maneuver, step maneuver, square wave maneuver and sine wave maneuver of attacking warhead in longitudinal plane and lateral plane respectively and simultaneously. The conclusion is that square wave maneuver is the best strategy, which is effective an feasible. The simulation results show that target error is closely related to factors like maneuver amplitude and simulation period, among which maneuver amplitude is the most important factor. That is to say, the bigger maneuver amplitude is, the bigger target error will be.At last, the whole paper is summarized and some further questions are brought forward.
