Squeeze film bearing is a new kind air bearing. It takes advantage of high frequency vibration in the normal direction of two surfaces produced by converse piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric material. With the gas between vibration and suspension plate squeezed continually, the air pressure in this area is higher than ambient pressure. Squeeze film bearing could work without external pressurized air or relative tangential movement between two surfaces, which can be applied to different conditions with typical bearing. Hence, it has a broad application prospect. However, the squeeze film bearing available is far away from the engineering standard. The present work main about design a control system for squeeze film bearing to realizing adaptive control of suspension heightTaking the horn type squeeze film levitation stage as the research objective, through analysis with fixed suspension model and free suspension model, reached a conclusion that main factor of the squeeze film levitation stage performance is vibration amplitude and frequency. According to the result by the theoretical analysis, designing squeeze film levitation stage control system for realizing the adaptive control of suspension height. Taking the TMS320F28335 as core, with the signal generator, frequency tracking system and signal conditioning module consist of the hardware part in control system. Introduce the principle of Fuzzy PID briefly and establish the control model. Simulate the model with simulink and compare Fuzzy PID with PID.Building debugging system for squeeze film levitation stage, make it working normally with online debugging. Design an experiment to test the performance of this control system. The result of experiment shows that the control system is able to realize the adaptive control of suspension height for the squeeze film levitation stage.
