The fuel temperature changes affected the fuel characteristics, the measuring accuracy of fuel metering device and the characteristics of components, and then affected the amount of fuel which is supplied to aircraft engine combustion chamber when the plane is working properly. So in order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the engine, it is important significantly to do simulation and experimental study of temperature characteristics of fuel metering device, and it is helpful to understand metrological characteristics of under different temperature and different conditions.In this paper, the thermal hydraulic simulation model of typical hydraulic components and the entire fuel regulating system was built with the base of AMESim simulation software platform, and the steady-state and dynamic characteristics of constant pressure difference valve, constant pressure valve and a metering valve at different temperatures and conditions were studied. Meanwhile, a fuel metering device test platform was built based on FADEC system, the test results was used to verify the accuracy and credibility of simulation results. The results showed that: with the increase of temperature, the supply amount of fuel oil, pressure difference, inlet pressure, outlet pressure and constant pressure were reduced. When the fuel temperature was below 0 ℃, the fuel temperature had a great impact on the characteristics of the fuel metering device.Finally, combined with the simulation and test results, analyzed the parameters which caused the change of fuel mass flow and constant pressure difference. Studied the effect of these parameters with the variation of the fuel temperature, which lie a solid foundation for the optimization design of the fuel metering device simulation model and the new design of the aero engine fuel metering device.
