At present,major buildings’ floor in our country adopt reinforced concrete or steel-concrete composite structure.Concrete is widely used in the plate. The process of production of concrete will cause pollution to the environment, and building demolition waste concrete will cause secondary pollution.As the national economic conditions improving, the development of green building materials calls more and more attention.Northern area in Jiangsu is rich in Italian polar. The trees grow fast, and have good mechanical properties.This paper intrudces a composite slab made by shaped steel-Itanlian polar plywood which are stucked together by structural glue.Flexural behavior experimental were conducted on 13 shaped steel-Itanlian polar plywood composite slab.Through this load carrying tests,characteristics of bending,failure mode and the feature of load vs. deformation curves are described,and composite effect,failure mechanism,ability of deform and carrying capacity are analyzed.The experimental phenomena are: the composite effect of shaped steel-Itanlian polar plywood composite slabs could be well strengthened by the effect of bonding and tapping screws.The plywood veneer pasted on shaped steel obviously improved stability of the steel and the ductility of the composite slabs,which can be used as buiding floor,and,appropriate span of composite slab were put forwardBased on theory of composite structures and experimental results, calculation formula of flexural bearing capacity and stiffness were presented. By means of the finite element software,the simulation analysis of bending on composite slab were conducted. Comparing finite element analysis with the experiments,experiments,it is shown that the finite element models are sensible.Finally by using the commercial finite element software, the simulation analysis of main factors influencing the bearing capacity of composite slab were analyzed, and discussed in this paper.
