According to increase of modern port’s value, many strategies appear for creating benefits from the ports. Especially, developing port logisitcs industry with international competitiveness is the main goal of Northeast Asian ports. Modern ports not only have the function of import and export, but also provide new complex logisitcs service. The function of modern port is becoming more and more complex. Basiclly, large-size porst bear the Hub Port of shipping network, and medium-and-small-size ports bear the Feeder Port of shipping network. This kind of logistics network is called the Hub & Spoke transportation network. Nowadays, in order to be a Hub port in Northeast Asia port, the competition between China, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan China becomes more and more intense.Based on this international situation, many experts have started research on the Weight of Port Choice. However, the existing researches are mainly focused on the location with surrounding districts, and the scope of study is also not too wide. Since the main cargo of ports is closely related with the international trade which includes import and export goods, it is necessary to consider the international ports in this case. And in order to increase the accuracy of results, opinions from lots of experts have been collected.. Besides, the study also takes into account the Northern Sea Route.Northeren Sea Route is one of the shipping routes which pass the Arctic Ocean. Since the distance of the Northern Sea Route is shorter than those of conventional shipping routes, the Notrthan Sea Route has certain economic advantages. As a result, the commercial process of the Northern Sea Route and the benefits it will probably bring have attracted significant attention from the entire shipping market, especially the Northeast Asia. In this case, this thesis mainly studies the container transshipment port choice in Northeast Asia by taking into account the Northern Sea Route, to put forward the scheme of the best port.
