| Curved-girder bridge constitutes one of the major forms of bridge structure. It can be adapted to the limitations of the site surface features and meet the modern aesthetic requirement for smooth-going lines. With the rapid development of city highways and motorways, a large number of viaducts and interchange overpasses have been built. Due to the features of their structural stress, curved- girder bridges, especially minor radius ones are inclined to suffer more problems than stra ight-girder bridges. These problems include upper-structure main- girder displacement and partial torsion, girder cracks, support and expansion joint damage and inefficacy. In recent years, curved-girder bridges across the country are affected by various problems, with displacement as the most common one. Therefore, it is urgent to study the maintenance and reinforcement of curved-girder bridges. This article analyzed the accumulation effects of multiple aspects that contribute to the displacement of curved- girder bridges, stated several common reinforcement measures for this problem, and discussed the appropriate conditions for each measure. With the support project of LD Motorway 16 th section, the article would analyze the reasons for the displacement of the project bridge, and discuss elevation and line variation changes respectively that leaded to the displacement. The support project bridge was simulated by finite element software Midas/C ivil. With 8th pier as the example and the jacking amount controlled by the bearing reaction, stress of box girder baseboard was calculated with the jacking amount at 3.0cm, 4.0cm, 4.5cm and 5.0cm respectively. The observation statistics afterwards indicated that the location of the girder is basically the same a year after the reinforcement. |
