At present,the three-dimensional visualization technolo g y h as become a hot topic in the desi gn i ndustry,th rou gh th e modeling o f the road,3D model can be obtained of th e ro ad,then the use of vis ualization technolo gy can realize the simulation of ro ad on the comput er,thereb y creatin g a realistic 3D ren derin gs and animation etc..On thi s basis,we can also carr y on an al ysis and evaluation of the design s cheme,t est if the design ro ad is reasonable, and wheth er the coordination with the surroundin g environment and land scape is well.With the development of computer h ard ware and software technolo g y, road 3 D model in road d esi gn has drawn more and more attention,an d has becom e the inevitable tren d of development on domestic and overseas traffic.But the use o f three-dimensional modelin g in the cit y ro ad design is still in its infanc y and ex ploration,this pap er conclud ed summary and anal ysis o f previous studies,p ro posed the BIM theory’s applin g to the desi gn of Cit y Road,the main conten ts are as follows:By anal yzin g the present situation of cit y road geomet ric d esi gn,this p aper used B IM technolo gy to optimize it,an d describ ed th e sp ecific methods to generate three-dimensional model of cit y road;Th en des cribed advant ages between BIM techn o log y and t raditional method in cal culati ng the earthwork volume from the part of calcul ation method;Summarized and put forward the project of co nstructi ng the wh ole cit y ro ad desi gn bas ed on the BIM th eor y,on this basis,combined with a number o f areas and technolo gies, the interaction between the Civil 3D and other softwares were ex plored,and the correspon ding function were realized;This paper too k urban road line as the go al,accordin g to the BIM theor y,est ab lished linear optimization index s yst em,u sed AHP to obtain the wei ght o f each index of the target. An d took it as a basis fo r sch eme sel ection in the followin g.This paper used Civ il 3D softwar e to creat e three-dimensional model of virtual items,and carried out a seri es of operations on the m odel,collected dat a and did research on it.Then compared mul tiple scheme with the establishment of index s ystem,to find the best solution. Finall y, carried on eart hwork calcul ation and const ruction sim ulation of th e optimal scheme,modi fied an d rend ered of the origin al model usin g the 3DS Max Desi gn software,created a m odel of th e project based on the visual view,and outputed construction drawin gs accordin g to t he requirements.This paper us ed Civil 3D software to est ablish the three-dimen sional model of the ro ad and op timized multiple alternativ es.Conclusion s were drawn as follows:BIM is a v er y adv anced t echnolo g y in t oda y’s conditions,we can not onl y solve the problem of information interacti on,but also coordin at e the professional collaborative d esign of the project,sav e time an d cost.Ap plication of B IM technolo g y in cit y ro ad desi gn is feasible and is gen eral t rend.
