| Thermostatic bath is one of the important equipment in temperature measurement. It is widely used in the important field of chemical, petroleum, medical and health. Thermostatic bath’s measurement performance is directly related to the calibration accuracy of thermometer. In the year of 2010, China formulated JJF1030-2010 <Measurement and Test Norm of Thermostatic Bath’s Metrological Characteristics>.This norm specifies the volatility and uniformity test requirements. According to the test norm, it should arrangement of 9 points in the effective temperature field, collecting a total of 248 test data, calculation and conversion of the data to get the final result. The whole process is complicated. And the calculation is time-consuming meanwhile it is accompanied by human error probability.In order to improve the efficiency of detection, this paper designed a set of thermostatic bath automatic detection device. The set of automatic detection device is in angle encoder and a photoelectric sensor monitoring, through the rotation of the motor, to complete the layout work, Using MCS51 microcontroller and RS232 communication technology, realize the automation of the whole system run through the PC control. Through VB programming, the automatic test software, automatic control, data acquisition, data calculation, generating original record, certificate printing function. After repeated experiments, the effect improves the work efficiency meanwhile it ensures the accuracy of test work.
