For developing from the big dredging country to the strong dredging country and taking its place in the international dredging market, China has to create dredging fleets with international competitiveness and possess the independent design and construction ability to build the mega trailing suction hopper dredger. So, carry out the research of 30000m3 trailing suction hopper dredger has the very important significance of enhancing the design ability of mega trailing suction hopper dredgers, enrich related technical reserves and revitalizing China’s dredging industry.According to the design requirements of the target ship type, this thesis make a research on the marine power plant configuration on the basis to meet the ship’s overall performance by absorbing the foreign advanced technology and experience. It makes a detailed analysis and comprehensive comparison on the alternative plan of power configuration from different aspects. According to the result of comparison, judgment is made by using multi-attribute decision-making method based on interval number to choose out the best power configuration plan. Besides, analysis is made on the type of the main engine to choose out the best type.After the ship model test, i.e. resistance test, free self propulsion test, dredger self propulsion test, it is verified that each index of the target ship meet the design requirements and the design of the marine power plant is successful. |
