| With the constant improvement of the road traffic system’s complexity and the increasing number of vehicles year by year, the road traffic accidents caused by the disorderly coupling of vehicles and transportation systems take place frequently. Due to the multi-level factors that affect the traffic accidents and the contingency and ambiguity exist in the traffic accidents. Many scholars find it hard to form a theoretical system in the long-term process of research. Currently, the research perspectives and methods in the study of traffic accidents are diverse, and analyzing the data of road traffic accidents is one of the most basic ways, and to find the deep-seated laws behind the accidents, more comprehensive analysis and more in-depth information mining of the date has become more and more necessary.This study develops a road traffic accidents characteristic information system based on E-R model. The system can realize the storage, maintenance, query and statistics of comprehensive accident information from all aspects of the Human – Vehicle – Road-Environment, and provide practical reference to the traffic safety researchers. The main content of the research is as follows.Select the cases and collect information of the road traffic accident as our research samples, After we classify,numbering and deep analysis the samples,we draw every part of the accident’s E-R diagram. Then we determine the relationship between different types of the road traffic accident characteristics and the real factors by eliminating the redundancy of attribute and relation, and establish E-R model of accident information. All of these things aim to provide theoretical basis to system development.Based on the technology of SQL multi-thread parallel querying, develop functional modules for the querying of accident characteristics and in order to enhance the man-machine interaction of the system, we output the accident characteristic data by line chart, pie chart and histogram. We develop the module which stores the visualization graphics of accident data: We develop two functional modes, which consist of graphic clipping of complete window and regional graphic clipping, from the angle of rapid window graphics interception. We develop the function of automatical generation of Excel in aim of the storage of accident characteristics. We develop function of automatical generation of word statistics report which is based on the characteristics of accident.Based on the Visual C++6.0 development environment, the storage platform of Microsoft Access database system, and the application of MFC ADO DLL technology, we develop our road traffic accident information system, The system includes system login module, accident information input and maintenance module, accident information querying module and statistical analysis module. |
