The maneuverability and stability of vehicle has the most prominent effect on traffic safety. Research on how to improve vehicle handling and stability can effectively suppress the occurrence of accidents. In the recent years, with the development of computer technology, the use of the application of computer processing experiment data is becoming more common with its high efficiency, low error, etc. The performance analysis of Vehicle stability test requires many data which need a complicated process. Evaluating and dealing with the test data through the computer technology has important engineering significance.In the paper, in view of the analysis of characteristics of passenger car steering stability test data, the author has developed the processing system for visualization of passenger car steering stability test data based on Visual Studio 2010. The system not only includes the pre-processing of noise reduction for the original uneven operating stability test data, but also builds the evaluation system for the various performance indicators of Passenger car steering stability test according to the test data processing requirement of the national standard of GB/T 6323-2014《the test method for vehicle handling stability》,which is proved the practicability by the example.Analyzing the effect of the result of the test data processing by the characteristics of the uneven data, Comparing the characteristics and effect of different noise reduction pretreatment technology, The author completes the test data de-noising pretreatment of steering stability test using the singular value decomposition technique and assesses the noise-canceling and the advantages of the singular value decomposition technique.Analyzing the Vehicle handling stability evaluation index according to the national standard of GB/T 6323-2014, based on the principles of classification of operating stability performance, the author has constructed the evaluation index system of passenger car steering stability through the Objective derivation method, which includes Steady turning performance, transient response performance, light steering return-to-center performance and steering performance.The vehicle steering stability data processing system, which is based on Visual Studio 2010, includes pylon course slalom test procedure, steering wheel angle step input test procedure, steering wheel angle pulse input test procedure, steering efforts test procedure, return ability test procedure and steady static circular test procedure. And the six trials of experimental data is processed to generate visual score and can be stored in vehicle handling and stability evaluation report. Finally, using the test parameters of a passenger car, the system provides a reliable basis to enhance controllability and stability.
