Study On Conventional Public Service Quality And Reliability Evaluation Of Xi’an

In recent years, with the rapid development of social economic and continuous improvement of people’s living standards, private cars have deepened people’s lives and become indispensable necessities of life. But with the growth of motor vehicles, the problems of urban traffic congestion are increasingly highlighted.Solving the urban traffic’s conflict of supply and demand, improving traffic structural arrangement and suppressing continued deterioration of urban environmental issues are urgent. Many cities put forward the schedule of ‘Public Transport Priority Strategy’, develop the public transport and encourage residents to take the bus trip firstly. ‘Public Transport Priority Strategy’ is the trend of urban transport development. To make this concept deeply rooted, first of all, it is very important to improve service quality of public transport, to impress and attract passengers with the best service.Under the premise of many cities’ promoting vigorously the ‘Public Transport Priority Strategy’, this paper studies the service quality and reliability of Xi’an conventional public transport. The service quality development status and evaluation indexes are discussed, and the paper selects and studies the most representative of six aspects, 12 indicators which includes safety, convenience, economy, promptness, speed, coziness. The reliability of public transport service reflect the ability that the daily work of public transport system can complete the task of moving passengers and providing a certain degree of services under the dynamic road traffic conditions. The paper adopts empirical probability as the indicator of reliability and reflects the public transport service simply and intuitionally. Finally, the paper introduces simply the ADC system model and the public transport service is evaluated by the E=ADC system performance model.The purpose of this paper reflects the status of public transport by the evaluation of conventional public service quality of Xi’an. The evaluation can provide a reference to relevant research departments, and promote the improvement of the quality of Xi’an conventional public transport service, provide more convenient and efficient, high-quality transit service.
