The cement concrete mixing stations are widely used in the industry of our country, such as agriculture, transportation, national defense, water conservancy, municipal construction projects. And the quantity demanded of the cement concrete mixing stations still increasing. While the domestic concrete stirring equipment rely on the experiences of foreign products had some continuous innovation and progress, however, the research of the whole stations’ dosing technical level is steel not complete, especially for the new concrete mixing station. Manufacturers often rely on the experiences accumulated over the years to meet the requirements of national standard on the quality of concrete mixing station basically. Moreover, there is not special experimental study for conveying process,feeding technology t of stations.As the structure of concrete mixing stations are complex, there are so many difficulties for matching relatively in the experimental study. So in this paper, combined with the actual production, we do simulation analysis on the stations’ batching transportation process and feeding process’ effects for the mixing quality and mixing efficiency by using the discrete element simulation software EDEM. Through the theoretical analysis and simulation analysis, to explore the dosing process: relying on the level of aggregate batching machine conveying process theory analysis,to put forward a more reasonable transportation process; and through the simulation method to prove that the improved process is superior to the process improvement before in the same conditions. For the feeding process, the domestic and foreign scholars always focus on feeding sequences, feeding modes. Therefore, this paper focus on aggregate feeding position’ influences on the initial mixture mixing uniformity and effects on stirring of resistance during feeding process. From the aspects of mixing quality and energy consumption to evaluate the results, and changing the improvement concentrate feeding type. The simulation of powder feeding position proved that spreading area has a great influence on the mixing uniformity of powder.In this paper, by testing the whole same three prototypes which their supporting system is slightly different concrete mixing station timing site to put forward an improvement measures, to retest the adjustment production sequence, and test comparison of the quality of the produced concrete. This paper will be the first application of EDEM software in the concrete mixing equipment, offering a new method to optimal design of the structure and process of concrete mixing equipment.
