As the core working device of the intermittent mixing device,Mixer on the uniformity of mixture mixing will directly affect the production quality and efficiency of the asphalt mixture.Mixture mixing process,through simulation technology research is not only beneficial to the study of asphalt mixing theory,but also the performance of the agitator can be evaluated scientifically and effectively by adjusting the different parameters.In this paper,the mixing process of asphalt mixture under different working conditions was simulated by using an indoor mixer model.In this topic,the mixing process of asphalt mixture is analyzed on the basis of stirring mechanism.The influencing factors of asphalt mixing uniformity were studied.The results show that the uniformity of asphalt aggregate mixing can be ensured by choosing reasonable speed,filling rate and stirring time.In order to ensure the uniformity of mixing,different parameters in the process of mixing should be compared.The three-dimensional modeling of an agitator in the indoor mixer was carried out by Creo2.0,and the stirring system under different mixing parameters was simulated by discrete element simulation software EDEM.According to the simulation results,the uniformity of the mixing mixture was analyzed.The results showed that the mixing uniformity was the best when the filling rate was 30% and the rotational speed was 75 rpm.Simulation of asphalt mixing with particle type modifier was carried out,the uniformity of the particle size distribution in the mixture was analyzed at different rotational speed,and whether adding the particle type modifier affects the uniform distribution of the particles was analyzed.Using the surface energy between the asphalt and the aggregate,the JKR contact model with the bonding function between the materials is compiled by API through EDEM,the simulation analysis of asphalt mixture is carried out.The uniformity of the asphalt mixture under this condition is verified,and the "wet mix" with a cohesive force between the large particles under this conditions has a better uniformity than the non-stick "dry mix".
