A Research On Roadbed Disease & Prevention In Loess Region

There is a wide range of loess in our country, and northwest region is the most completely preserved with most clear loess featured area for loess. Road diseases are very common due to the special characteristics of loess in northwest region. This paper proposes the theory of collapsible loess Treatments following analyzing loess engineering characteristics and relevant engineering impaction factors. The causes of the diseases and conditions of the diseases are summarized, combining road disease survey data in loess region, and prevention measurements for the roadbase diseases in Loess Region are proposed: Sub-grade retaining wall protection and engineering protection measures,Sub-grade slope design and protective measures, and roadbase drainage and water proof facilities.This paper analyzes various roadbase diseases treatment measurements in Loess Region, and proposes treatment measurements for preventing roadbase disease in Loess Region by combining survey results of application of various construction methods in real highways, and also completes the research on roadbase disease by proposing relevant treatment measurements.
