As transportation industry has developed rapidly, highway play an increasingly important role in the economic development. Damage phenomenon under the effect of overloading is also increasing with the load on road surface increasing gradually. The existing road design index and parameter is not suitable for heavy load pavement design, which is not specific for the development and evaluation of heavy traffic road pavement. At present, though certain research has been made for the road detection, disease treatment of late, related research for heavy load pavement, taking testing evaluation and maintenance plan into example, is not comprehensive, and relevant cause of pavement diseases caused by overloading is not clear. Based on the results that have already concluded, relying on state road 107 north communication connecting line located in Hebei province, pavement conditions and disease characteristics were comprehensively investigated in this article. The overloading asphalt pavement structure adaptability was researched by structure combined characteristics, and pavement disease treatment and maintenance plan were put forward, which is based on state road 107 north communication connecting line located in Hebei province, which is of great significance for detection and evaluation of overloaded pavement and disease treatment. The main research contents include the following several parts:(1)Through the analysis of pavement core sample and surface, the damage status and the characteristics of disease of pavement is determined. Based on the mechanical properties of core sample inspection, mineral aggregate gradation and asphalt properties testing, the basic performance of asphalt pavement are tested and evaluated, and diseases of asphalt pavement are comprehensively analyzed which state road 107 north communication connecting line located in Hebei province should have.(2)Characteristic parameters and distribution of heavy vehicle axle load were comprehensively analyzed, and the numerical model of asphalt pavement under the action of overloading is set up. Deflection response of road surface was systematically studied under the action of overloading with the response of tensile stress, compressive stress and shear stress response for pavement structure layer, and the fatigue life of asphalt pavement was evaluated under overload. In view of the structure parameters, the effect on the mechanical behavior of asphalt pavement structure are studied and damage causes of overloading asphalt pavement are analyzed with the structural characteristics.(3)Considering asphalt pavement disease treatment scheme, pavement maintenance scheme was compared and recommended for state road 107 north communication connecting line located in Hebei province. The future maintenance scheme was planned, and some suggestions on the overloaded arterial highway asphalt pavement structure in Hebei province were advanced.Thesis research which is content to determine overload highway pavement damage reason and enhance the scientific nature of the pavement maintenance scheme has important practical significance.
