The tailing ore sand foundation have the characteristic of non uniformity, high saturation because of its special formation causes, which have a noticeable influence on the stability of high filled embankment which on it. In view of this, this article which combined the Shanxi Wang-fan highway project analyzed the deformation of the high filled loess embankment that built on the composite foundation of CFG pile, cement mixing pile, gravel pile,gravel cushion.In this paper the main work are as follows:Firstly, the model test of the CFG pile and modulus of elasticity test of CFG pile were did in laboratory, got the settlement data of soil among pile and the modulus of elasticity of the model of pile in wet and dry conditions.Secondly,the finite element software ADINA was briefly introduced. Using ADINA,the 2D numerical analysis of the CFG model test was made,making the data of simulation was similar to tue data of test,got the internal friction angle and cohesion of ailings.Finally, using ADINA,the 2D numerical analysis of the composite foundation of CFG pile, cement mixing pile, gravel cushion gravel pile was made,analyzd the deformation law of embankment soil which caused by the change of non uniformity of foundation, the embankment height, the length of the pile, pile spacing,and the change law of the value of embankment and foundation soil between the four treatments of foundation were compared.Result indicating: with the increase of uneven degree of foundation in horizontal and vertical direction, the horizontal displacement of the soil between the right slop of the embankment to the left of the tailings sand layer increased significantly and the vertical displacement of embankment decreases gradually and its maximum value is gradually shifted to the left; With the increase of embank-ment height, the horizontal displacement of soil near the slope toe of embankment is increaseing more and more obvious and the sphere of influence of maximum value of vertical displacement gradually expand upward, left shif; With the increase of pile length, the horizontal displacement of the left side slope and right slope reduced significantly and vertical displacement decreases gradually; With the increase of pile spacing, the horizontal displacement of the soil between the right slop of the embankment to the left of the tailings sand layer increased slowly.
